Redmi 10 (2022) certified on FCC: coming with Helio G80 and up to 6GB of RAM

According to the info available on the Google Play console, it appears that the Redmi 10 (2022) will be equipped with the MIUI12.5 operating system based on Android 11 and will be equipped with a display with Full HD + resolution (1080 × 2400 px), therefore the same of the previous generation.

As for the chipset, the Redmi 10 (2022) will be equipped with MediaTek's Helio G80 processor. The Helio G80 is a 5G chip launched by MediaTek in 2020. The chip is based on a 12nm manufacturing process and has a total of 8 cores. Furthermore, the 8 cores of the Helio G80 adopt a 2 + 6 “Big Little” design. The two Cortex A75 cores have a frequency of 2 GHz and the six small A55 cores have a frequency of 1,8 GHz. The overall performance is close to that of the Snapdragon 710.

For the rest, according to the information on the FCC certification body's website, the Redmi 10 will be launched in two versions, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. So there is a variant with more RAM than the Redmi 10 already on sale in Italy.

From a photography perspective, the Redmi 10 will be equipped with a 50 megapixel main camera, with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens, these should be enough to meet the main daily needs of users.

Now we just have to understand if this version will also be launched in Italy given the similarities with the current Redmi 10, but above all what its final price will be.
