As we learned a few hours ago, the arrival of the Redmi 10X has been confirmed by the president of the Xiaomi China group and general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing. However, what he had not announced to us at that time is the date of presentation of the device. Well, apparently the brand has decided to communicate it on the Chinese social network Weibo immediately after, now we are therefore sure that the Redmi 10X will see the light of the day on May 26th.

But the presentation date of the smartphone is not the only thing we have discovered in these hours. A famous Chinese leakster, such DigitalChatStation, would have in fact just revealed the device's design in a new render.
As we can see in the image below, the Redmi 10X has a design that is almost identical to the Redmi Notes 9S presented in a global version last March. Having said that, the hardware should instead change substantially.
Again according to the leakster, in fact, the device should adopt an AMOLED and non-LCD screen as on Note 9S and with a 90Hz refresh rate. While as regards the internal hardware we already have the official confirmation that the Redmi 10X will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 as a CPU. That is what is claimed as the most powerful medium-high-end 5G processor that we will see in 2020 and which has already allowed the smartphone to obtain over 400.000 points on AnTuTu.
Furthermore, according to official data, the Dimensity 820 is based on a 7nm production process and integrates a top-of-the-range multi-core architecture with 4 × Cortex A76 2.6GHz + 4 × Cortex A55 2.0GHz, an AI processor. independent (APU3.0) with high energy efficiency and a Mali-G57 MC5 as GPU. Obviously there is no lack of support for 5G dual carrier aggregation, 5G + 5G dual card dual standby, SA and NSA dual mode 5G.
In any case, the Redmi 10X looks like a device specifically created for the Chinese market, so we may never see it arrive in a global version.
