According to the latest from Xiaomi, the Chinese brand is about to launch the next one redmi 12, more than a year after the release of its predecessor, the redmi 10.

The Redmi 12 will reportedly be equipped with a large 6,79 inch TFT IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2460×1080 pixels and a pixel density of 396ppi. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3, with a typical 70% NTSC color gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio.
The screen of this device is also equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate, which can be dynamically adjusted to a refresh rate of 30, 48, 60 or 90Hz according to different usage scenarios and applications.
Il Redmi 12 will be available in three colors of blue, silver and black, with a body dimension of 168,60 mm x 76,28 mm x 8,17 mm, a weight of 199 grams and will run with the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 12.
As far as performance is concerned, the new device will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2,0 GHz. The chip will then be accompanied by at least 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, capable of supporting up to 1TB of MicroSD card expansion.
As for the photographic sector, Xiaomi's next Redmi 12 will come with one main camera from 50MP with a focal aperture of f/1.8, a pixel size of 1.28μm and support for 4 in 1 super Pixel technology. We will then find a camera with an 8MP ultra wide lens with a FOV of 120 degrees, a focal aperture of f/2.2 and a pixel size of 1,12μm, together with a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens with a pixel size of 1.75μm. For selfies, there's one front camera from 8MP with f / 2.45 focal aperture.
