The Redmi 3S + is the first Xiaomi smartphone to be sold offline only

We had just said some time ago (exactly , promising) that Xiaomi has never taken offline sales seriously. The marketing of the new Redmi 3S + could, however, mark a change of direction for the Chinese company, since it will not be possible to buy it if not directly entering an Indian store. The phone is added to the Redmi 3S family with a 5 ″ display with 1280 x 720p resolution, Snapdragon 430 processor, 2 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of ROM, 13 Mpx rear camera and 5 Mpx front camera, all powered by a 4410 mAh battery. On the back there is the fingerprint scanner, a feature taken from the predecessor. The device will sell for just INR 9,499 (approximately € 127).

3s

Many smarthpones are only sold offline in India and the Redmi 3S + seems a logical choice, given that the main targets for sale will be tier 2 and tier 3 cities, certainly different from those expected for other high-end models released previously. The Redmi 3S + will be available in all major chains for a total of 7000 stores. Oppo and Vivo have shown that it is never too late to enter the offline market of the second most populous state in the world and Xiaomi has probably taken inspiration from the two rival companies.

4100 battery and not 44100, that would be too good … and heavy! Considering that the RN3 SD is between 150-180€, perhaps the price is a bit high. But here the real news is the sale only in physical stores, a utopia to date for Xiaomi outside China and India ...
