Unfortunately, the inconvenience generated by the Coronavirus continues, such as social panic and above all chaos in the world economy. The financial consequences that Covid-19 is bringing to the globe are manifold, from the collapse of the scholarships, to the closure of schools up to the cancellation of technological events and demonstrations, such as the MWC 2020 in Barcelona.
And as happened for the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 10 in China, which took place online precisely because of the Coronavirus, just a few minutes ago Redmi announced the cancellation of the presentation event of the new Redmi Note 9, for the same causes. The event had been scheduled for months, but the latest and considerable concerns arising from the virus that is spreading in a pandemic way, have led the company executives to the excited choice of cancellation.

To the detriment of the non-presentation of Redmi Note 9, the company adds the fact that it has canceled all the events scheduled for the month of March, although it reassures its users that it will try to make a new online event, thus trying to keep faith with the previous scheduled commitments. This should take place on March 12, the day on which the Redmi Note 9 should take official action in the world of smartphones, but at the moment it is not yet certain whether the date indicated by the company refers to this or to some other program.
In short, the new candidate to crown the middle range of the market, will wait a little longer, but we hope that it is actually March 12th the date on which Redmi Note 9 will be launched via streaming. In reality, what worries most is not the fact that the launch dates of the planned devices are postponed, but what will be of the stock, considering that many factories in China have closed their doors bringing difficulties in restocking the goods, as happened at example with the Xiaomi's new router.
