Redmi K20 Pro (Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro) disassembled and made transparent by JRE

The Redmi K20 Pro returns to be the protagonist in a new video of one of the most famous Youtuber techs on the planet, we are talking about channel Zack JerryRigEverything. The Youtuber has in fact brought the flagship killer of the Xiaomi sub-brand back into the spotlight after having massacred it poco over a week ago, as we saw in this article.

Redmi's K20 Pro, known in many parts of the world as Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, is today a much more benevolent video star, even if the usual amount of destruction is not missing. Let's go see the video together!

Zack begins the video describing the Redmi K20 Pro as one of the smartphones with the best quality / price ratio for the year 2019. That said, the work of dismantling the device begins, starting with the beautiful red back cover with reflections of light that once heated is easily removed. Open the smartphone we find fragments of rubber near the volume and on / off buttons, these are used to make the smartphone water resistant, even if the K20 Pro has never been certified as such.

If we move to the top we go instead to see the pop-up mechanism of the front camera, tested for up to 300 thousand openings without breaks. Zack then returns to his favorite hobby, creating a transparent version of the smartphone. To do this, simply remove the film attached under the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back glass that gives the K20 Pro its red color.

But as always, this is not enough for Zack who decides to literally cut, with a pair of scissors, parts of the non-essential smartphone, to then reassemble it and let us enjoy the Redmi K20 Pro for a few seconds in a transparent variant that we can hardly see in the real world .

Zack continues the video by rearranging the smartphone, removing the large battery from 4000mAh thanks to the three available pull-tabs, the 13MP camera is removed with an ultra wide-angle lens and no optical stabilization, the same is true for the secondary from 8MP with telephoto lens and the main Sony IMX586 from 48MP.

After removing the motherboard too, the Youtuber decides to look closely at one of the most interesting components of the K20 Pro, the pop-up front camera. Once the plastic cover is removed, we can see the LED lights that illuminate the camera every time we activate it.

Finally, Zack ends the video by reassembling the various components and turning on the smartphone which, almost miraculously, starts without any problem.
