The Redmi K30 5G presented in November is the last device in chronological order released by the Xiaomi sub-brand. Now, despite the fact that the smartphone does not seem to have achieved the desired success and with the K30 Pro behind the doors, the Chinese brand has however decided to launch a new version of the terminal.
Redmi K30 5G now available in the 8GB / 256GB version
This new version actually sees minimal difference. In fact, everything remains unchanged except for the maximum internal memory, now increased to 256GB. Until now, only two variants were available with 64GB and 128GB of storage. According to the data released by Redmi, with 256GB of memory it will be possible to save up to 64 thousand songs; a detail perhaps poco interesting in 2020 with streaming services that are the masters.
The new Redmi K30 5G with 256GB of internal memory (and 8GB of RAM) will be sold in China at the price of 2899 Yuan, or here 380 euros at the current exchange rate.
As we said previously, all the other specifications remain identical, we will therefore find a 6,67-inch diagonal screen, with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also LCD and not AMOLED as was the previous series (K20 / K20 Pro) and there are two cameras in the pillar hole in the upper right.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor for excellent performance in the mid-range category and with support for the dual mode 5G network, both NSA and SA. While for photography we have a 64MP main rear sensor, the Sony IMX686, supported by an 8MP camera with an ultra wide lens, a 5MP with a macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
Finally, we find a large 4500mAh battery with fast charging support with a maximum power of 30W.
