A few days ago we have reported of the possible increase in prices for the next Redmi K30 Pro compared to the predecessor, the Redmi K20 Pro. The first true Redmi flagship killer was in fact presented with a starting price of 2499 Yuan, or about 317 euros at the current exchange rate. Instead, his successor will have a higher starting price, but how much more? Let's find out together!
Redmi K30 Pro will cost at least 3000 Yuan (380 €), the product manager confirms it
According to Chinese media, the Redmi K30 Pro could have a starting price of at least 3000 Yuan, therefore about 380 € at the current exchange rate. The news was confirmed by Redmi product manager Wang Teng on the social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter). Wang Teng would have responded to a fan who asked "Will 3000 Yuan be enough to buy the K30 Pro?" saying "Put a reminder." This means, according to the Chinese press, that the smartphone will cost 3000 Yuan or more, therefore 500 Yuan (63 €) more than the previous version.
The higher price would be justified by the presence of a truly full screen design with a hidden front camera thanks to a pop-up mechanism. The smartphone will clearly also adopt the best hardware from the photographic point of view, such as an image sensor from at least 64MP, most likely the Sony IMX686, coupled with three other cameras with ultra wide angle lenses, telephoto and macro or alternatively a sensor of shallow depth of field.
The same goes for performance, with the modern and super-performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 assisted by a minimum of 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 internal memory. Two memory technologies that increase performance and at the same time decrease energy consumption.
As for the other specifications, the smartphone should adopt a battery with a capacity of at least 4500mAh and fast charging at 33W. While among the feature in doubt we have fast charging and support for the WiFi 6 standard.
