The founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, however, kept to clarify that it was thought that 100 thousand units were enough, but apparently the enthusiasm of Xiaomi fans was underestimated. We also hope that among the buyers there are also some of the stores such as Banggood or Gearbest, so that we can also buy it as soon as possible.
Why buy it even if through a third-party store? Well, for two main reasons: the first is that we still don't know if the smartphone will ever be officially marketed outside of China; the second has to do with the cheap price. Even with the price tag added by the stores, the Redmi K30 Ultra will still be a great deal for those looking for a device with flagship specifications at a lower price than other alternatives.
Recall that among other things, the K30 Ultra adopts a 6,67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone is also equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip that allows it to achieve similar performance to the Snapdragon 855.
As for photography, we find a 64MP main sensor produced by Samsung, coupled to a 5MP one with 2x zoom, a 2MP depth of field sensor and a 13MP ultra wide angle camera with a 123 degree field of view. For selfies we find instead a 20MP sensor.
