In the last period we have been captured by various types of information regarding Xiaomi Mi 11. However we must not forget that the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 it will also be equipped at cheaper flagships, such as Redmi K40. However, there are some considerations to be made: it has been rumored that one of the two devices in the series (probably the standard one) will integrate a MediaTek processor. Well, we must keep in mind that the Chinese variants are never the same as those arriving in Europe therefore it is not certain that we too will see a K40 with a MediaTek processor. Having said that, let's go and see what has emerged in the last few hours.
We have a date, or at least a debut period for the Redmi K40 series: starting from October 20 and in any case within the month the two devices will be announced
Based on how much reported by Chinese media and Digital Chat Station in person, the series Redmi K40 which will include a standard variant and a Pro will debut starting January 20, 2021. But why was that date chosen? It appears that MediaTek will launch a new high-end chipset before Spring Festival (moment in which, among other things, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be presented) with connectivity 5G. The rumors regarding the Redmi flagship series insist that the 20st January the Taiwanese company will present this chipset and that starting from that moment the brand will present the two devices. Probably the same day.
As we can see in this photo, the same Digital Chat Station revealed what he said poco above. But let's order then: the series will consist of two models, one Pro and one non-Pro. The first will come equipped with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 while the second from a MediaTek chipset new generation, equipped with 5G connectivity. As anticipated, we must not consider these two models as models that will arrive in Europe. Something will change for sure and it is not excluded that it is the processor.
