So, according to the revelations above, the Redmi K50 should be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 to lower the starting price. Is it still priced at 1999 yuan (270 euros)? While the e-sport version will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 and the brand has already stated that there will be a double heat dissipation system with integrated VC liquid cooling that will make the Snapdragon 8 run at lower temperatures than competitors.
Going to the Redmi K50 Pro, which could be equipped with the Dimensity 8000, a processor with TSMC's 5nm manufacturing process, the CPU part is composed of four 78 GHz A2,75 + four 55 GHz A2,0 and the GPU part integrates Mali-G510 MC6. Judging by the parameters, the Dimensity 8000 should be an upper-middle-range chip in terms of performance. So it is a bit strange that it is called K50 Pro, a name usually reserved for devices with the most performing chip of the moment.
Finally, the K50 Pro + should be equipped with Dimensity 9000, which is the first 4nm SoC and also the first truly flagship 5G processor from MediaTek in recent years.
