Redmi K60 Ultra officially anticipated: coming with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and Pixelworks X7 independent graphics chip

Redmi, the brand of Xiaomi which has always stood out for its quality-price ratio and high performance, is about to launch its new flagship model: the Redmi K60 ExtremeUltra. It is a smartphone that promises to revolutionize the concept of performance, thanks to the collaboration between Redmi, MediaTek and Pixelworks, who have joined forces to create an unprecedented hardware and software platform. Well, Redmi held a conference on “post-performance era strategy” this morning and the long-awaited Redmi K60 Ultra has been officially teased.

Redmi K60 Ultra officially anticipated: coming with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and Pixelworks X7 independent graphics chip

The Redmi K60 Ultra will be the second smartphone in the world (the first is the Vivo X90s) to adopt the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, a 6-nanometer chip that offers exceptional computing power and connectivity. The Dimension 9200+ supports dual SIM 5G network, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC, as well as integrates a Mali-G710 GPU and a six-core AI processing unit (APU). This processor can handle the most demanding applications, the most advanced games and multitasking operations with ease.

However, the Redmi K60 Ultra will be the first smartphone in the world to integrate a Pixelworks X7 independent graphics chip, which offers unmatched image quality and display smoothness. The Pixelworks X7 is a coprocessor dedicated to the display, which takes care of optimizing parameters such as contrast, brightness, color, sharpness and refresh rate of the screen. The Pixelworks X7 also supports HDR10+ technology and the MEMC movement compensation, which eliminates blurring and judder in high-speed scenes.

As for the other specifications, the Redmi K60 Ultra will mount one AMOLED screen from 6,67 inches with Full HD + resolution, variable refresh rate from 1 to 144 Hz and 480 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also has a central hole to house the 32 megapixel front camera, while on the back we find a 108 megapixel quad camera with Samsung HM3 main sensor, 13 megapixel wide angle lens, 8 megapixel periscopic telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 5 megapixel macro sensor.

The Redmi K60 Ultra has a battery from 5000 mAh with support to quick charge from 120 W, which allows you to recharge your smartphone from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes. The smartphone also has a Harman Kardon stereo speaker, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port and a 3,5mm audio jack.

But the real novelty of the Redmi K60 Ultra is its software, which makes the most of the hardware capabilities thanks to the Rage Engine 2.0. It is a performance optimization engine developed by Redmi, which is based on five main modules: environment perception, image quality engine, dynamic display, global acceleration and performance planning. Rage Engine 2.0 can sense environmental conditions and application scenes, and adjust image quality, screen refresh rate, resource allocation, and thermal management in real time. In this way, the Redmi K60 Ultra always offers the best possible visual experience, fluidity and responsiveness.

The Redmi K60 Ultra is a smartphone that isn't afraid to push the limits of performance, and that presents itself as the flagship of the Redmi brand. The smartphone will be officially presented within this month, but it is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated devices of the year. For those who want to see a new powerful, beautiful and affordable smartphone, the Redmi K60 Ultra will certainly not disappoint in this regard.
