According to information reported by a site, a new model with number 2311DRK48C has passed the 3C certification and is expected to be a product of the Redmi K70 series. The certification information shows that the applicant and manufacturer of this new phone is Xiaomi Communication Technology Co., Ltd., the manufacturer is Longqi Electronics (Huizhou) Co., Ltd., and it is equipped with a charger with a maximum power of 90W.

The same site previously mentioned Xiaomiui as a source, reporting that Xiaomi is internally testing MIUI-V15.0.0.2.UNLCNXM, MIUI-V15.0.0.2.UNKCNXM and MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNMCNXM versions, including Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70 and Redmi K70E, these models correspond to “23117RK66C”, “2311DRK48C” and “23113RKC6C” respectively.

Between these, Redmi K70 Pro will be equipped with processor Snapdragon 8 Gen3, Redmi K70 will be equipped with processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2, and Redmi K70E will be equipped with Dimension 9200+ processor.

Previously, the telephone Redmi K70 Pro appeared in the benchmark library GeekBench, showing the code name Manet. In version 5.5.1, the single-core score was 1100 points and multi-core score was 5150 points. The phone is confirmed to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The test model uses 16GB RAM memory and runs Android 14 from the factory.

The Redmi K70 series is therefore proposed as one of the most interesting on the Chinese smartphone scene, offering high performance, fast charging and an updated user interface. The series is expected to debut in November 2023, but there is no information yet on price and availability in international markets.

We just have to wait and see if the series will be marketed outside the Chinese territory even if as we already know this would arrive under the brand POCO and not Redmi.
