Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is expected to launch a new device under the name of Redmi Note 12 4G in the coming weeks in India. Well, today the smartphone appeared on the site of the well-known benchmarking platform Geekbench.
Redmi Note 12 4G caught on Geekbench with overclocked Snapdragon 680 chip
According to the Geekbench website, the Redmi Note 12 4G (model number: xiaomi 23028RA60L) has a single core test score of 422 and a multi core test score of 1252. The smartphone will use an eight-core Snapdragon processor, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 680 chip, but in an overclocked version. The device will then be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and could integrate 128 GB of storage space. We also find out that the Note 12 4G will be launched with the Android 13 operating system on board.
As for the other specifications, the Redmi Note 12 4G should arrive with a 6,67-inch diagonal AMOLED display, with a Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
For photos, Redmi's Note 12 4G should integrate a 50 MP rear camera, an 8 MP ultra wide camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. While for selfies we should find a 13 MP front camera.

In terms of autonomy and charging, the smartphone will most likely be equipped with an integrated 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via the USB type-C charging port.
For the rest, the Redmi Note 12 4G should also come with a side fingerprint sensor and an infrared ray emitter to be able to control devices such as TVs and more.
Finally, even if the model spotted today on Geekbench is the one for the Indian market, the smartphone should also be launched in the rest of the world.
