Xiaomi has finally revealed the launch date of its highly anticipated series Redmi Note 13 Global: January 4, 2024. After its success in China, Xiaomi fans around the world will soon be able to get their hands on these cutting-edge devices.
Xiaomi reveals the launch date of the Redmi Note 13 Global series
The series Redmi Note 13 stands out for innovation and cutting-edge technology, with the Note 13 Pro and the Note 13 Pro+ that they boast 6,67-inch POLED screens with a resolution of 1,5K, a 120 Hz refresh rate and exceptional brightness. Rheinland certification ensures effective reduction of blue light and flicker, while PWM and DC dimming technologies ensure a comfortable viewing experience even in the most extreme lighting conditions.
Design-wise, the Note 13 Pro+ further distinguishes itself with a leather back shell in Light Dream Space, while the Note 13 Pro offers a choice of plastic and glass in Midnight Black and Mirror Porcelain White.
Under the hood, the Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the mighty Dimensity 7200-Ultra from MediaTek, developed in collaboration with Redmi. This octa-core processor promises high performance with optimized power consumption. In contrast, the Note 13 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm's second-generation Snapdragon 7s, which offers a maximum frequency of 2,8 GHz and an Adreno 660 GPU.
Photography is another strong point of the series, with both Pro models sharing a 200 megapixel main camera uses the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition sensor, capable of capturing detailed images with 2,24 micron pixels. The ultra-wide-angle and macro cameras complete the set, giving users the flexibility to capture all kinds of scenes.
As for autonomy, the Note 13 Pro+ stands out with a 5000mAh battery that supports incredibly fast 120W fast charging, while the Note 13 Pro is no exception with a 5100 mAh battery and 67W fast charging.
Finally, the base Redmi Note 13 does not disappoint, with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor that feeds one 6,67-inch Full HD+ OLED screen. The main camera from 100MP and the secondary 2MP one for macros are ideal for photography enthusiasts looking for a more accessible device.
IP68 certification, Gorilla Glass Victus and 120W charging
At the moment the Note 13 was announced only in India via the poster that you see as the featured image of this article. Anuj Sharma, CMO of Xiaomi India, however, revealed via a tweet that that image contains suggestions about some unexpected features. In our opinion, we recommend the IP68 certification, Gorilla Glass Victus and 120W fast charging.
