Aesthetics and screen features

Both Redmi Notes have 5.5 inch full HD screens, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 403 ppi.

Both a single metal body, but the Redmi Note 4 has rounded corners and a 2.5D curved screen. The Redmi Note 3 in addition to not having rounded corners and a curved screen is slightly thicker (8.7 mm against 8.4mm) even if less heavy (164 gr against 176).

The processor of the Redmi Note 4 is the powerful Helio X20 deca-core from MediaTek (The GeekBench 3 test scores 1683 points in single core and 5396 in multi core, results comparable to those of snapdragon 650). While the Redmi Note 3 is equipped with a Helio X10 octa-core processor (The GeekBench 3 test scores 822 points in single core and 4529 in multi core, results comparable to those of snapdragon 801).

 Software

The Remi Note 4 uses the Miui 8.0 based on the android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. While the Redmi Note 3 used the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version at the beginning after which it was updated to the Miui 8.

Camera

In the Redmi Note 4 we find a 13 megapixel camera, like its predecessor. The rear cameras are both equipped with a dual-led flash and are dated with autofocus. Both have a 5-point front camera. Photo quality for both devices doesn't look great.

Capacity and Battery

Both phones are available in the 16 GB version with 2 GB RAM For the Redmi Notes 3 is also available with a 32GB and 3GB of RAM, while the Redmi Notes 4 passes directly to the 64 GB version with 3GB of RAM. Both phones are dual-sim and the second slot is hybrid, as it can be used for both a new sim and a microSD up to 128 GB.

The Redmi Note 4 battery is a 4,100 mA one. By doing a stress test on this device you get a 5% remaining battery percentage at the end of the day. While its predecessor has a slightly smaller battery of 4,050 mA and at the end of the day it comes with a percentage of remaining battery of 10%.

Conclusions

From the comparison, the superiority of the Redmi Note 4 appears clear, in terms of power and performance, thanks to a powerful deca-core processor. The design of the Note 4 with sweeter lines makes it more attractive. The choice always remains with the buyer. What do you choose?

Article sincerely disappointing for content, if it is a new writer we give other possibilities for sure, good luck. The phones are called Redmi Note 3 and 4 and not Redmi Mi Note 3 and 4, with all the Xiaomi models around if you also miss the name of the phone is the end. Personally, I would not choose either, but the Redmi Note 3 Pro that fits the Snapdragon 650, better than the MTK.

But what is the comparison? Comparing the 2 technical cards we are capable of all!

I was interested in knowing how they behaved in terms of autonomy. By eye I would say that the 4 should be less, but how much?

However, the 3 has also been upgraded to Marshmallow and MIUI 8, eh!

And finally, throughout the article we talk about Note 3 when in reality we are analyzing the 3 Pro!
