The Redmi Note 8 will not be officially launched in Italy, so put your heart at rest and abandon the idea of buying one. In its place you can buy a Redmi Note 8T. Yes, you read that correctly!
Xiaomi Italia has just announced that the successor of one of the best-selling smartphones of all time, the Redmi Note 7, will actually be the Note 8T. This means that we will see no Note 8 based in Italy, but the slightly more modern version that brings a much requested upgrade.
The Redmi Note 8 will not arrive in Italy, in its place we will have the Note 8T!
What is this upgrade? Well if you are a regular reader you already know that the Redmi Note 8T is nothing more than the Note 8 presented in China a few months ago, with the addition of an NFC module to be able to make electronic payments and more.
Everything else remains unchanged, so we find a screen of 6,39 inches diagonal, with Full HD + resolution and the 13MP camera positioned in the drop notch at the top. While on the back we find four cameras including the main one from 48MP (sensor Samsung ISOCELL GM1) with f / 1,79 aperture, a secondary one from 8MP with ultra wide-angle lens, a depth sensor from 2MP and a camera from 2MP for macros.
The smartphone equips Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 as a CPU, a low-power processor with an 11nm production process. Although in reality there would be no need thanks to the typical 4000mAh battery of the Note series. Finally, the other specifications include a USB Type-C port that has support for fast charging to 18W, an infrared emitter (IR), an audio jack from 3.5mm to be able to connect our favorite headphones / speakers and much more.
Now tell us yours. What do you think of this choice of Xiaomi to bring only the "T" version? Do you agree? Please let us know in the comments section below.
And the fingerprint sensor?
But I have our redmi
More than agree, it will probably be the phone that will replace my redmi note 5
But which version do they already sell on Amazon?
It says European
But the T variant is uglier on the front, too bad
Sorry in what sense? Is it identical to the Note 8 without a T. Or are we missing something? 😄
the lower part where the word "Redmi" is written seems thicker
