Redmi Note 9 Pro has recently made its debut but has already sold out on Amazon India's online platform. The interest in this device is skyrocketing by users who have seen the legacy left by the Xiaomi MAX series in this new device, yet something could turn up the nose to the many users who have purchased it or who will think of a future investment on this phone.

In fact, despite a large panel in Full HD + resolution, the new Redmi Note 9 Pro does not seem to benefit from the Level 1 Widevine DRM certification, thus making it impossible to view streaming content in high definition from platforms such as Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.
Does Redmi Note 9 Pro support HD streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix?
A problem that is not so rare in the devices of the Asian brand, whether it is Xiaomi or Redmi, even if the solution to Widevine L1 support could arrive in the future, with the release of an update. To throw confusion, however, we think of the Indian Youtubers, who have already been able to test the device, from which, however, different realities emerge in relation to the DRM content in HD.
In fact, if on the one hand we find who reports the L3 certification for Redmi Note 9 Pro, there are those who have shown and demonstrated that the brand's new smartphone already has the L1 certification. It is not clear if the miracle occurred just after an upgrade was released, even if there are no traces of that update.
Probably the two reviewers are holding different devices? A sending error by Indian marketing? Of course we do not have the answers to this, but delving into the matter it seems that Redmi Note 9 Pro enjoys Widevine L1 support natively, although at the time of the release the device did not enjoy the authorization from Netflix, which arrived later.
Heir to the Max series with that microscopic screen? To date all phones are 6.3-6.6 ″.
A max in 2020 should have a 7.5 ″ screen to make sense. But now I am convinced to take a 10 ″ wifi tablet (with related problems outside the home without a network, but at least at home I will see well ..).
Keep us updated on the Redmi Pad, if it really mounted the 765G it would be perfect, there is no news and confirmations around 🙁
