New certified Redmi tablet: will be launched before September
Indeed, according to the Chinese media, a Redmi tablet has appeared on the website of the CE certification body. It could be the previously leaked Redmi M84.
Specifically, a product appeared on the certification platform with the notification number "KZ0000006240" and the model number 23073RPBFG. The certification of the device will be released on May 15, 2023 and will be valid until December 31, 2029. Unfortunately, we cannot get details about the model name of the new tablet from the information on the CE certification site.
As Chinese media previously reported, the tablet Redmi M84 it is an upcoming new product of the brand which is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year. So, this makes us think that the said device is probably Redmi's next M84 tablet. However, we still don't have any more news about the M84 tablet leaked by a Chinese blogger. Also, the "M84" is probably just a code name, not the final model name.
In any case, as mentioned above, the Redmi Pad is Redmi's first tablet and it was launched towards the end of last year. The tablet features a large 2-inch 10,6K screen that supports a high refresh rate of 90Hz; adopts an all-metal integrated design, with a thickness of only 7,05 mm and a weight of 445 grams. The tablet features quad speakers, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front camera and is powered by an octa-core processor, the Helio G99. The starting price of the first sale in China was 1199 yuan, about 160 euros.
