Redmi, the smartphone brand of Xiaomi, officially announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on November 29, 2023, where it will present its annual flagship series and its first metal smartwatch, the redmi watch 4. This new smartwatch promises to offer a better and more elegant user experience, with an improved design, screen and materials.
Redmi Watch 4 officially anticipated: it will be the first with a metal body
The Redmi Watch 4 inherits the large, boxy screen design of the previous generation, the Redmi Watch 3, but is expected to be improved in terms of size and resolution. The device it will be available in at least four materials: metal, leather, rubber and nylon. Among these, metal is the most eye-catching, as it gives the device a high-end look and premium texture. The Redmi Watch 4 can be equipped with a Milanese strap, a “fabric” composed of a stainless steel mesh that adapts perfectly to the wrist.
The Redmi has not yet revealed its technical specifications, but it is expected to be equipped with the HyperOS operating system, which was launched alongside the Xiaomi 14. This system offers greater fluidity, customization and compatibility with Xiaomi smartphones. The Redmi Watch 4 is also expected to support a variety of health and fitness monitoring features, such as tracking heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep, stress, breathing, and female health. Furthermore, the device is expected to support 121 sports modes and automatic identification of 6 sports modes, including running, walking, cycling, elliptical, rowing and jumping rope.
The Watch 4 will also be equipped with five satellite positioning systems: GPS, GLONASS, Beidou BDS, Galileo and QZSS. This means that the device will be able to record motion tracks independently, without using the phone. This feature is very useful for users who like to do outdoor activities, such as hiking, trekking and cycling.
As mentioned above, the Watch 4 will be launched on November 29, 2023, Together with Redmi K70 series, which will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform.
