As we have known for over a week, the next Redmi K30 10 will be presented in China on December, or next Tuesday. Well, apparently the future flagship killer will not be the only device to see the light of day that day.
RedmiBook 13, Redmi Smart Speaker Play and Redmi Router coming on December 10
Redmi has indeed revealed on the Chinese social media Weibo that other new products will be presented together with Redmi K30. Let's talk specifically about a new laptop, a router and a smart speaker.
Let's start with the perhaps most interesting product, the laptop. The RedmiBook 13 is called the "Full Screen" version, this suggests that it could be a new version of the RedmiBook with even thinner edges around the screen. We also hope that Redmi has decided to streamline the chassis as the first generation of the laptop was not among the thinnest or lightest, especially compared to other laptops sold by the parent company Xiaomi.
Unfortunately, in addition to the size of the screen that will obviously be on the 13 inches, we have no other info on the laptop right now, so we'll have to wait for the December 10 to learn more.
Turning instead to the router, Redmi has already revealed that it will be called "AC2100". If the name seems familiar, it's probably because Xiaomi introduced a router called "AC2100 Router" about two months ago.
Xiaomi's router was mainly dedicated to gamers and its strong point was the MT7621A CPU with 880Mhz frequency combined with 128MB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. We then had a maximum speed of 2100Mbps which is obtained by combining both the 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz band; specifically 300Mbps reachable on 2,4Ghz and 1733Mbps on 5Ghz, for a total of about 2100Mbps which is then the name of the router.
Finally, we have Redmi's smart speaker. Regarding this device we have no info on the specifications but we know the name "Redmi Play". That said, we expect to have a relatively inexpensive WiFi / Bluetooth speaker with Xiaomi's virtual assistant, XiaoAI, already pre-installed.
The presence of the latter is confirmed above all by the poster itself which sees AIoT as the main protagonist, that is, all those interconnected devices endowed with artificial intelligence.
What to say, next Tuesday we will follow one of the most interesting conferences of recent months. In fact, we will have Redmi's first 5G smartphone, with NSA / SA dual-mode 5G technology that we learned in this article will adopt a Qualcomm 7xx processor, accompanied by gadgets that will surely have their strength in the value for money.
