As usual, the rumors on Mi 6 are cascading and the (supposed) features of the terminal emerge one after the other and arouse surprises and perplexities. According to the source, Xiaomi would have decided not to use an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for Mi 6. The technology in question, developed by Qualcomm, allows you to register your fingerprint through the display, without the need for a special sensor or scanner in the home button. Xiaomi would instead be working with a Chinese company, entrusting the latter with the task of developing new security systems that will characterize the next devices. It also seems that to learn more about the device we will have to wait longer than expected: Xiaomi would not in fact intend to unveil the device at the WMC in Barcelona. The sale of the device should however begin in April, as previously speculated. Recall that these are only rumors and Xiaomi may have some surprises in store for fans. The ultrasonic scanner could, for example, enrich a possible “Pro” version of the device, along with some other gems.
