Samsung will provide OLED displays from 6 inches to Xiaomi

Tomorrow's 18 July in India is scheduled the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 debut, the phablet that inherited Mi Max's success and also made it famous for the large display and for mid-range configuration but with high-end performance.

But a recent one is added to this agreement signed between the giant Samsung and Xiaomi is preferably used for providing OLED screens from 6 inches. Probably screens will be used for the sequel to Mi Max 2 or another device belonging to the Redmi series. The agreement provides for the Samsung's supply of approximately 3,2 million panels within the 2018, divided into two shipments of which an initial game last month with a supply of 1 million units and the remaining 2,2 million by the end of the year.

Previously it seemed that Xiaomi wanted to integrate the OLED displays produced by LG but the agreement was never concluded. Samsung displays are famous for the chromatic rendering especially in the multimedia department and this could increase even more the immersivity offered by devices like the Mi Max 2. We will continue to follow this partnership between the two technology giants in order to update you on any developments.

In the meantime, we invite you to read ours Full review regarding the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 or to view our video review.
