The developers of the music streaming service Spotify announced an update. They intend to make it more than just a music listening app. Therefore, it was decided to completely redesign the main page. Album and playlist covers will appear at the top, a feed of video podcasts, clips and photos will appear.

However, the existing music-only page won't go anywhere, and the new one will open at the touch of a button at the top of the screen. According to the CEO of the service Daniel Ek, the company hopes to attract more than 50 million new audio content creators.
