About a year after the official presentation of the TicWatch Pro, the Chinese company dedicated to the creation of the latest smartwatch, Mobvoi, now seems to be about to launch its successor, or so we believe.
The rumor comes directly from Mobvoi, specifically a video teaser has been released on Youtube followed by a web page that shows the different features that we will find on the device.
Mobvoi about to launch a new smartwatch, is it the TicWatch Pro 2?
What feature are we talking about? Well, obviously we find the basic features available in all the latest generation TicWatches, then a fitness tracker and other details to improve our health, we will then have the possibility to receive notifications without difficulty, a heart rate control mode will be available more advanced and precise heart rate, finally the smartwatch will have an improved autonomy and will be swim-friendly, that is waterproof and with a quick button to track our swims.
Among the features listed above, perhaps the most interested and requested by fans of the brand is the one that Mobvoi anticipates as increased autonomy. In fact, the smartwatch will be able to achieve that through the use of two different displays, as was done for the TicWatch Pro original.
In fact, remember that the TicWatch Pro equips what Mobvoi calls “Layered Display Technology”, in practice we have an AMOLED type display placed under an FSTN LCD type screen. This allows you to use the latter in case you want to save battery.
Finally, from the video teaser we can also understand that the smartwatch will have more performing hardware. Most likely we are talking about a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor with integrated LTE connectivity.
