TOZO T6 (upgraded 2023) – MINI TWS headphones but with GREAT performance that you can also WASH
When Apple launched the first AirPods in 2016, there were many more or less well-known brands that concentrated their efforts on imitating the design of the Cupertino company's headphones, without giving too much weight (perhaps) to audio quality. Among the products in circulation that are inspired, at least in part, by the style of the bitten apple we find the TOZO T6, but in reality the copying is only on the case because once the lid is opened we find ourselves faced with two "pills" which instead have a lot to offer in terms of quality. Let's discover them together in this complete review. Someone may have already heard of the model in question at least two years ago, but the ones I present to you today are the 2023 version, revised by the brand with many improvements.

CONSTRUCTION QUALITY
From the point of view of construction quality, TOZO is truly a guarantee. Everything is assembled perfectly and the attention to detail can be seen, for example, in the hinge of the opening of the upper door, which remains firmly and does not cause it to close on itself even following strong jolts. The magnets that hold the earphones inside the small package are also excellent. Another thing worthy of note is the possibility of opening the lid with one hand thanks to a small recess.
The front of the case has four LED lights to indicate the current battery charge status and then the matte finish of the plastic hides annoying fingerprints that could remain attached to it. On the lower profile we find the Type-C input for charging via cable but this is not the only possibility to recharge the TOZO T6, as we also have wireless charging available, which is also very fast, something decidedly rare in the price range where these earphones are placed.
Moving on to the actual earphones, I found them very comfortable to wear. They are light and compact but we can further customize comfort thanks to a series of rubber pads, supplied in different sizes but also with different stiffness: the totally black ones are softer and the ones with the red insert are stiffer. Listening to music but also podcasts, films and streaming content is decidedly satisfying, being able to also take advantage of the touch controls, which are decidedly reactive (without having to apply too much pressure on the ear) and customizable thanks to the companion app, on a single earphone being able to manage the play/ pause, track skip, volume control and call up your phone's voice assistant.
AUDIO QUALITY AND CONNECTION
The audio returned, although only the AAC/SBC codec is supported, is decidedly high quality without ever sounding muffled and the presence of the bass is surprisingly powerful, but without overwhelming the medium-high tones, giving your favorite music a rich sensation and punchy that you wouldn't expect when you spend little money on TWS headphones. Ideal for listening to any genre of music, capturing the slightest nuances, also due to the presence of 16 audio presets as well as the possibility of creating a personalized equalization curve via the application.
Furthermore, the Bluetooth 5.3 connection was always stable even at home, keeping the audio source in one room and listening to music in another, also offering a delay that was truly reduced to a minimum. Unfortunately, there is no multipoint connectivity and pairing is very quick but we have to remove the headphones from their housing as there is no hall sensor in the lid. Mention should also be made of the IPX8 certification for both the case and the earphones, even allowing the product to be washed under running water, which is also a decidedly rare feature on products of this kind and therefore no problem in use during sporting activities, for example a running in the rain.
AUTONOMY
Among other positive considerations I include the battery life, which is practically infinite. Between the main charge and those provided by the case, we will be able to obtain at least 50 hours of playback with a volume of 50/60% but at maximum volume we will still be able to take home 40 hours, covering almost three weeks, if we consider an average daily use of About 3 hours. For the case we have a 400 mAh unit available and 40 mAh for the earphones, which with a single charge lead to an autonomy of 12 hours. Charging the headphones takes place in less than two hours while it takes around 50 minutes to charge the box, both in wired and wireless mode.
The positive surprises do not end here, because although the TOZO T6 only has a single headset microphone, the quality of the conversation on the call was astonishing, thanks to the presence of ENC technology, cleaning our voice from annoying noises. The only real flaw I have only encountered in conditions in which the wind is really strong, for example in a car with the window open or when using a bike, in these cases our voice is sometimes covered by the noise of the wind, with degradation general of the conversation. In any case, considering a base of a single microphone and dynamic drivers of only 6mm, we can't really complain, quite the contrary considering in general a super powerful bass with reproduction of the frequency range ranging from 18 Hz to 20 KHz.
APP COMPANION
Last but not least, TOZO's proposal is also accompanied by the presence of the application available for both Android and iOS, through which we can for example update the firmware, but also calibrate the audio through presets or via a customizable equalization curve as well as changing the touch control on a single earphone. However, you also have some goodies at your disposal, such as the possibility of playing some sounds and music from the app to help you relax before sleep, etc.

CONCLUSIONS, PRICE AND WHERE TO BUY THEM
In my "career" as a reviewer there have been many TWS earphones tested but these TOZO T6 particularly stood out as among the most complete and functional at a price of less than 30 euros. IPX8, wireless charging, build quality but also audio for music, streaming and conversation as well as absolute comfort in use for many consecutive hours and then autonomy at the limits of reality. I would also add that 6 different colors are available, therefore also suitable for a young audience.
I honestly didn't expect much from these T6s, but in the end they entered my top 5 favorite earphones but certainly the best in terms of the price range under 30 euros.
