A mysterious Mi A1 could be the first Xiaomi with Snapdragon 660

Galeotto was the official Xiaomi certification website. Well yes, because a few minutes ago a new sign appeared among the Mi series devices of the Chinese company. Xiaomi Mi A1 will not say much but could be a much-anticipated novelty to the more. Let's see why.

We are from poco entered the third quarter of 2017 and, unlike the past few years, Xiaomi did not know how many devices. Except for the series Redmi and Redmi Notes, in fact, this year we only saw the launch of Mi 6, Mi MAX 2 and Mi 5X.

Some of you will say "So? Where is the problem? Better so, at least they can track them closer in terms of software development!". And you're right, but doing a comparative banal you realize how last year we saw really many high-end models presented.

Just yesterday, among other things, we informed you that the Next 21 August will be presented Redmi Note 5A, the initiator of what wants to be a new mid-range but low cost Xiaomi series. So Xiaomi Mi A1 what can it be?

First, Xiaomi Mi A1 has a code name very similar to Mi 5X. In fact, if the 5X on the technical tabs is named MDT2, the new mysterious device is identified by the MDG2 code. And if Xiaomi A1 was the first model of a new high-range series of mid-range costs?

I honestly believe it poco, also because everyone would pour into the purchase of this model neglecting the top of the range that cost more. It would be self-inflicted damage by Xiaomi. The explanation must be found elsewhere.

Considering then the imminent Mi MIX 2, the rumors on Mi Note 3 and the presentation of Mi 5X with SD 625 processor that made the nose grow to those who expected a more recent CPU, why not think that Xiaomi Mi A1 may be the first Xiaomi smartphone to mount the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 660?
