The Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha is one of the most innovative smartphones of recent years thanks to its 360 degree display that allows it to bring a visual experience never perceived before. Xiaomi will adopt UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) technology on its devices
Well, apparently new leaks arrive from China that give us hope. According to the famous leakster Digital Chat Station in fact, a new technology called UTG which stands for Ultra Thin Glass is going to be used by two Chinese brands, Huawei and Xiaomi.
Digital Chat Station then added that Ultra Thin Glass technology will be used primarily for folding screens and surround screens. Hence the suggestion that one of the first smartphones to adopt it will be Xiaomi with its Mi MIX Alpha. So the solid type glass used by the smartphone and all the various problems that this entailed could be replaced by one with the new technology.
So very positive news for all fans of the concept phone launched in December last year and which is not yet available on the market to date precisely because of the production problems caused by the curvature of the display. So that it becomes available in the following months and maybe even more budget friendly? We obviously hope so!
We quickly remember that the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus with support for the 5G network, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ultra fast UFS 3.0 internal memory. The photographic sector includes a 108 / 1-inch 1.33MP Samsung sensor, f / 1.69 focal aperture and four-axis OIS (optical stabilization). Finally, the smartphone is powered by a 4050mAh battery with support for fast charging at 40W.
