vivo presents its new ISP, this time studied together with MediaTek

vivo posted the first details on the new V1 + image processor, developed by the company together with MediaTek. It has received a number of improvements over last year's model and will be compatible with more smartphones. Unlike its predecessor, the new chip can work not only with Qualcomm mobile processors, but also with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000. According to the company, using vivo V1 +, users of branded smartphones will be able to take high-quality night shots even with lighting levels below 1 lux.

The company also has established un 16% improvement in image brightness and 12% improvement in white balance accuracy compared to last year's ISP. In addition, the processor will receive support for Zeiss Natural Color mode, which provides better color accuracy. Using V1 + will also allow you to run multiple games at 90 or 120 fps.

According to vivo, in combination with special artificial intelligence algorithms, the chip will also allow you to "download" the central processor of the smartphone, reducing energy consumption by about 10% when working with "heavy" software. The first device to feature the v1 + coprocessor will be the flagship camera phone vivo X80.
