According to the latest from China, a new Vivo branded smartphone would just be appeared on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform website.
Vivo X Fold2 caught on AnTuTu: it will be one of the most powerful folding smartphones on the market
The new device comes with the model number “PD2266” and is thought to be the next foldable from the Chinese brand, namely the Vivo X Fold 2.
Judging by the information revealed by the benchmark, the next smartphone will be equipped with the mobile platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, Together with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. While the operating system will be based on Android 13.
In terms of performance, the total score of the Vivo X Fold 2 is 1318092 points. Going into detail, the CPU score is 288246 points, the GPU score is 579982 points, the memory score is 256004 points and the UX score is 193860 points.
We can therefore say that the score of Vivo's next foldable is in line with that of all other smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform on board, which is not always obvious with foldable smartphones.
In any case, according to previous leaks, the Vivo X Fold 2 will use one screen manufactured by Samsung of type E6 with a diagonal of 8 inches and 2K resolution. The screen will also support a high 120Hz refresh rate.
We also know that the smartphone will integrate a built-in dual cell battery with a capacity of 4800mAh and will support one fast charging with a maximum power of 120W.
Finally, it has been reported that Vivo's new foldable smartphone will see a significant one reduction of its weight and thickness, will therefore be a very thin and light foldable, a factor that should attract many consumers interested in purchasing this type of device.
