Experts from the DxOMark laboratory tested the top-of-the-range smartphone Vivo X60 Pro, examining in detail its front camera. After taking hundreds of photos, the experts really appreciated the capabilities of the device, including it in the top 10 premium devices in the “selfie” category.
vivo X60 Pro features the only front camera that uses a sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixel (f / 2.45). The selfie module of the smartphone is capable of record Full HD video at 30 fps. The platform Snapdragon 870 is responsible for the performance of the device.
During testing, the vivo X60 Pro was able to boast one wide dynamic range and accurate color reproduction inside and outside. When shooting outdoors, good noise control and high image detail are noticed. In almost all test conditions, the device demonstrated astable and accurate exposure while recording video.
However, there are some drawbacks: the experts have included one on their list limited depth of field, as well as a higher level of noise and reduced detail when shooting in low light conditions. In the same scenario, sometimes in the pictures artifacts and color quantization appeared. In rare situations, the photos showed a slight deformation of the face and, in the videos, insufficient details on the skin tone.
In the overall standings, the live scored 91 points, managing to conquer the tenth place in the "selfie-rating" of premium devices according to DxOMark.
