Vivo, the well-known smartphone manufacturer, recently launched a new mid-range device in China, the Vivo Y100i 5G. This device, which is part of the Y series (which should stand for Youth/Young), was designed with the needs of young people in mind.

According to Chinese media, the Vivo Y100i 5G is essentially a rebrand of the Vivo Y78 T1. As a result, the new mid-range is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. It also comes with a 6,64-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution (2388 x 1080 pixels) and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
Surprisingly, this mid-range smartphone comes with a 12GB RAM and internal memory of 512GB, allowing users to preserve large files and documents. Apart from the memory and RAM configuration, the poster released by the company also reveals the price, camera configuration, design and colors of the device.
For photos, Vivo's new device features a dual rear camera matrix camera module equipped with at least two cameras. Unfortunately, the brand has not yet revealed further details, but if we look at the specifications of the Vivo Y78 T1 we can hypothesize that the Vivo Y100i 5G is equipped with a 50MP AI dual rear camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 8MP selfie camera.
Furthermore, as regards autonomy and charging, the device is equipped with a battery from 5000 mAh with quick charge from 44W. Furthermore, the phone will also have a headphone jack from 3,5 mm. Finally, the Y100i 5G has a thickness of 7,98 mm and weighs approximately 190 grams.
The Vivo Y100i 5G is available in two color variants: Blue and Pink. price of the smartphone is 1599 yuan (around 203 euros at the current exchange rate) and will be available for sale in China starting November 28, 2023.
