In these hours we have seen the official release of the new MIUI 12 in stable and Global format for the Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro and Mi 9 devices, of which we have told you in this article, but many are users who own other devices, therefore the question "When will my device receive MIUI 12?" it is more than legitimate. In particular, it is precisely the users of Redmi Note 7 and Note 8 Pro who ask themselves this, considering that the two devices have been real best sellers in sales from their start to today.
We will try to clarify or better answer the above question, specifying that the answer we will give is the result of reasoning and therefore nothing is official. Having said that, it is necessary to refer to the MIUI 12 Mi Pilot program, which started in early May and which has literally recruited users to test the new interface, on the Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro and Mi 9. devices. It therefore took a month and a half about before seeing the fruit of these tests, releasing the MIUI 12 in a stable version after the first beta leaked online.
When Redmi Note 7, Note 8 Pro and POCOPHONE F1 will receive the MIUI 12 Global Stable?
Therefore if we consider this period, we can assume that also Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and POCOPHONE F1, will receive the MIUI 12 at the end of July or at the beginning of August at the latest. In fact, the Mi Pilot program for Note 8 Pro and Note 7 started on June 10, but still no MIUI 12 beta has leaked online. However, we could see a further delay in consideration that the future and full-bodied update could also bring Android 10 with it.
For what concerns POCOPHONE F1 on the other hand, things could take a slightly different turn. Also for this device the Mi Pilot program is underway but the team takes care of it POCO, which having fewer devices to update, the release could take place as early as mid-July, anticipating the adventure companions Redmi Note 2 Pro and Note 8 by about 7 weeks.

Really too slow Xiaomi ... I have a Redmi Note 7 but it has seen very few updates, I thought Xiaomi did many more ... quite disappointed by it
