Xiaomi 14 shows itself live for the first time, already running with HyperOS

As we already know, Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, which promises to be the most powerful and innovative in its history. Well, today the founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, shared a photo of the device on Weibo (Chinese Twitter), which runs the HyperOS operating system, developed internally by the company.

The Xiaomi 14 will be the first smartphone to be equipped with HyperOS, but it won't be the only news. According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, who analyzed the photo published by Lei Jun, the Xiaomi 14 will also have one 1,5K flat screen with a central hole for the front camera. The screen will be provided by Huaxing and will have a frame close to 1mm,The thinnest among flat screen smartphones. The lower bottom edge will be reduced by 20% thanks to a new circuit structure that moves the wiring inside the viewing area.

The Xiaomi 14 will also have a powerful rear camera with three sensors of 50MP each, branded Leica. The processor will probably be the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will be officially announced at the end of October. There battery will be 4.600 mAh and will support 90W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse fast charging. The smartphone will also have stereo speakers, IR transmitter and IP68 certification.

As for the operating system, HyperOS it is the result of the integration between Android and the Vela system, created by Xiaomi to offer a public basis for the Internet of Everything, i.e. the connection between billions of devices and services. Lei Jun called HyperOS a “super huge engineering system,” which will bring a quantum leap in user experience.

Lo Xiaomi 14 will be officially presented on October 27 in China, although this information has not yet been officially confirmed by the brand.
