Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer is preparing the presentation of its next super camera phone, namely the Xiaomi 14Ultra, with launch scheduled for the first quarter of next year. The 14 is a device that promises to amaze photography enthusiasts, thanks to its system of four cameras of 50 megapixels each, for complete focal length coverage.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have the best photographic sector on the market
According to what was revealed by the blogger Digital Chat Station this morning, the main camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will support the variable aperture, which can be adjusted between f/1.6 and f/4.0, ensuring greater light entry and better image quality in different lighting conditions.
The main camera will also have a Sony LTY900 sensor, an optimized version of the Sony IMX989, which has a 1 inch sensor in size. This sensor is equipped with a technology called DCG, i.e Dual Conversion Gain, which means that the pixel has two different charging voltage amplifiers.
This technology helps reduce the impact of DCG sensor pixel power noise, thus improving image quality. Practically, the DCG sensor is able to better adapt to changes in brightness, offering greater dynamic range and less color distortion.
The other three cameras on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will also have one 50 megapixel resolution, but with different functions. It is assumed that one is dedicated to the telephoto lens, for optical zoom, one to the wide angle, for panoramic photos, and one to the macro, for close-up details.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is therefore a candidate to be Xiaomi's flagship phone with the best photographic performance in the history of the brand, and one of the best on the market. In addition to the cameras, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, the most powerful of his generation, and will deliver up to 1TB of internal storage.
We just have to wait for Xiaomi's official announcement to discover all the features and price of this camera phone.
