As we know Xiaomi has already been working on its next flagship smartphone, the lo, for months Xiaomi 14Ultra, which is expected to hit the market after the 2024 Spring Festival. Today, the well-known blogger Digital Chat Station has revealed some of the technical specifications of this device, which promises to be one of the most powerful and advanced of next year.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: the next super flagship will have a larger battery than its predecessor
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be equipped with one battery 5180mAh, which exceeds that of the 180mAh Xiaomi 13Ultra, the previous model. It is not yet known what the fast charging specifications will be, but it can be assumed that they will be at least equal to those of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which supports a 120W wired charging a wireless charging from 80W and 10W reverse charging.
As for the design, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a slightly curved screen with an L-shaped central frame, which should ensure better grip and greater impact resistance. The screen will have a resolution 2K it's a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. The metal frame will no longer extend to the back, as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra did, and a glass version will also be available, in addition to the technical nano-leather version.
The strong point of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, however, will be the photographic sector, which will consist of four 50MP rear cameras each. The main camera will be equipped with the Sony LYT900 sensorwhich is one improved version of the Sony IMX989, used in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This sensor will be 1 inch in size and will offer greater dynamic range and richer color levels. The main camera will also have a variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0, which will allow it to adapt to different light conditions.
The other three cameras will be an ultra-wide angle, a tele-macro with 3.2x optical zoom and a periscopic with 5x optical zoom, all 50MP and with optical image stabilization (OIS). This configuration will allow you to capture sharp, detailed images at different distances and angles, offering unprecedented versatility.
Finally, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will mount the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, the most recent and powerful chip from the American company, which will guarantee high performance and low energy consumption. The smartphone will run on HyperOS, Xiaomi's new user interface based on Android 14, which will offer new features and greater customization.
