The Xiaomi group has just announced the financial results of the past year, or until 31 December 2020.
Xiaomi reveals the financial data for the year 2020: shipped over 140 million units
So let's find out the data starting from the turnover which was 245,9 billion yuan, with an increase of 19,4% on an annual basis. While the net profit was 13 billion yuan, an increase of 12,8% year-on-year.
In 2020, Xiaomi's global smartphone shipments were 146,4 million units, an increase of 17,5% year-on-year and the Average Selling Price (average selling price) settles at 1039,8 yuan. an increase of 6,1% over the previous year.
Additionally, in 2020, Xiaomi's out-of-China turnover was 122,4 billion yuan, up 34,1% year-on-year and equal to 49,8% of total turnover.
Xiaomi also invested 9,3 billion yuan in research and development last year, up 23,5% year-on-year.
Finally, in 2020 Xiaomi reached 22.074 full-time employees, with a total salary expenditure of 9,915 billion RMB.
