Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese manufacturer presented its latest flagship model, the Xiaomi 14Ultra. But it wasn't the only product to catch the attention of tech enthusiasts. In fact, together with the new smartphone, Xiaomi also unveiled its first 80W wireless charger, which promises to recharge the phone to 100% in just 49 minutes.
Xiaomi 80W Wireless Charging Set for Xiaomi 14 Ultra released in China
The wireless charger, with a rather long name, is officially called Xiaomi 80W Lift-type Air-cooled Wireless Charging Set. This is a set made up of three elements: the 80W wireless charger, a120W power adapter and a 6A USB Type-C cable. The price of this accessory is 499 yuan, approximately 64 euros.
The wireless charger has a vertical design, allowing the phone to be positioned both horizontally and vertically, depending on the user's preference. Also, use two coils to ensure greater charging speed and internal fan to control temperature and reduce noise. The charger is compatible with all devices that support the Qi wireless charging standard, but only Xiaomi smartphones can benefit from the maximum power of 80W. The iPhone, eg, are limited to 7,5W, while I Samsung at 10W.
The Xiaomi 80W Lift-type Air-cooled Wireless Charging Set is already available for purchase in China, on several online platforms, including Xiaomi's official website and other retailers. At the moment, it is not known if and when this product will also arrive in international markets.
We also remember that Xiaomi had already launched an 80W wireless charger, the Mi Wireless Charger 80W, which strangely is no longer talked about and which is no longer possible to purchase on any site.
In any case, Xiaomi once again demonstrates its ability to innovate and offer its users practical and efficient solutions for charging their devices. The 80W wireless charger represents a significant step forward in wireless charging technology, which could soon equal or surpass wired charging.
