As of a couple of Mondays now, we start the week with a series of new gadgets presented by Xiaomi over the weekend. Among the two products of today we have the new suitcase of 90 Minutes sub-brand and a new hair clipper for children.
So let's start with the new 90 Minutes case available in both 20 and 24 inch versions. The suitcase is composed of a mix of PC and ABS materials, in particular the lightest PC plastic is used for the external part, while the ABS is used in the chassis to increase its rigidity and at the same time reduce its weight compared to a chassis in aluminum.

Xiaomi has used a particular production process to be able to put together the different plastics without having to use rivets or screws. So not only will the suitcase be more durable but it is also more beautiful aesthetically and without any imperfection.
Moving on to the opening mechanism instead, it is very simple and can only be unlocked with one hand. The padlock has the TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) certificate, this means that it can be opened by the police with the special key supplied, so the suitcase will not be tampered with or damaged in case of checks.
As for the wheels, they use a two-layer structure of high quality to increase stability and fluidity, then have a larger diameter and are more durable thanks to the anti-wear rubber and which reduces shocks. Finally, we have ball bearings for smooth movement at 360 degrees and an extendable aluminum handle with adjustable length.
The 90 Minutes suitcase costs 599 Yuan (77 €) in size 20 inches and 799 for that from 24 inches (104 €).
Let's now move on to the new cheaper hair clipper for children ever presented by Xiaomi. This accessory uses high quality blades and an ultra quiet motor. This engine can create 4000 vibrations per minute with less noise than 55 decibels, an important feature for a device specifically designed to be used on children.
The hair clipper uses a blade with 28 teeth instead of the typical 20 teeth, which makes it possible to cut hair easily, especially those of usually softer children. We then have an IPX7 certification, so the accessory is almost completely waterproof and can be rinsed easily at 360 degrees.
Finally, the Xiaomi children's hair clipper has an internal battery for 60 minutes of use, is rechargeable through a USB cable and is available in two colors: pink and blue. The price in China is 79 Yuan, that is poco less than 11 euros.
