Yesterday the division MIUI of Xiaomi announced through the social Weibo that there would be one great news for millions of fans and that this news will be released today, 15 February.
From the attached picture it seems that the novelty is about the official update for MIUI to Android 7.0 Nougat, an update that only interested in Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi Max in beta test at the moment. Unfortunately Xiaomi did not reveal any further details.
But it just seems that stable version of the MIUI 8.2 it will be available for the millions of users awaiting the update that seems to be officially released through OTA starting from 26 February.
Generally the MIUI versions for developers receive updates once a week while the stable versions once every three months, but an update to Android 7.0 is now essential for the 0,2 billion users who love MIUI, whereas MIUI 8.2 in stable version will also bring new functions.
But what will the new functions be? Unfortunately there are still no further rumors but if the 8 version has made more people fall in love the MIUI 8.2 will make further breach in the heart of the geek and non users.
