By the way information disclosed by the Chinese Patent Office, namely the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), it seems that Xiaomi is preparing some second generation AR glasses. We clearly do not know when these will be launched and especially IF they will be. For the moment, smart glasses remain a niche product, poco accessible to the masses and more poco widespread. In any case, the patent shows us how Xiaomi's AR smart glasses should be in the future (authorization number CN216052442U and patent 2021222256148).

Based on the patent description, it seems that Xiaomi's upcoming AR smart glasses can adjust both the height and the length of the rods. Furthermore, thanks to a mechanism present in the joint between lenses and temples, it will be possible to widen the device to adapt it to the size of the face. The second point in favor of these second generation Xiaomi AR glasses is the weight. Despite this it seems that the next generation will be anyway lighter than the first, already in itself poco heavy.
