That Xiaomi had his hands in the meal everywhere it is well known but the Chinese company is about to score another strategic blow in the automotive world as it has recently signed a collaboration agreement with the company Baic Group. Now there is already someone who speculates on the marketing of a real car totally branded Xiaomi, the We Car, but the same voice that circulated on the net a few years ago with much to make attachment.
Indeed it is Lei Jun himself to deny the news about a car made in Xiaomi, stating that the company will continue to focus mainly on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, but also on smart home devices such as TV, Tv Box, Router etc .. so it is not entirely contemplating the idea of realizing cars or even real estate or anything else.
So what is the strategic agreement between the two companies? Very simply Xiaomi got one sort of exclusive to enter their gadgets and implement new patents at the automotive level of cars that will come. In fact it seems that Xiaomi is trying to integrate into cars as a sort of Android Auto as the technology is so advanced that it is no longer enough to have a smartphone to be connected to the world but on all occasions it feels the need to access the internet and the information and services it offers.
E Xiaomi is in a position to provide both hardware and software technology as well as Internet services considering the recent partnerships with local mobile phone providers. But is it really so or does Lei Jun really intend to land in the automotive field with a really smart car? There is nothing left to be tuned in and find out how it will come.
