Xiaomi closes the 2015 with 70 millions of smartphones sold

You know, Xiaomi is a start-up that literally burned the stages, gaining the Asian market (and not only) in the last 6 years and winning the title of first smartphone seller in Asia last year. In 2014, the Chinese company decided to set annual sales targets, especially for 2015 the goal was to sell from 80 to 100 millions of smartphones before the end of the year. Unfortunately, if we can say so, it has not reached its predetermined goal by being able to sell "only" 70 million of device. However, one must consider that in 2014 the company sold 61 millions of devices and that therefore there was always a step forward for the company (an increase in 13% of sales).

Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi company, personally confirmed this data and also said that this year they intend to achieve the goal of last year, namely 80-100 million smartphones sold.

Although some investors have doubted the company Xiaomi and the loss of investor confidence | given the failure to achieve the set sales target, there is still the large number of devices sold, which is not from poco. Not only that, it must also be considered that last year there was no presentation of any flagship by the company (with the exception of the Mi Notes that belong to another category) but this year the goal will certainly be achieved, if not passed, given that next month there will be the official presentation of the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi5.
