Xiaomi's Civi range already includes several models all focused on selfies to appeal to the younger audience but above all the female one. The range includes devices such as the Xiaomi Civi 1, Xiaomi Civi 1S, Xiaomi Mi 2 and now news regarding the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 is starting to appear.
Xiaomi Civi 3 arriving in April: leakster reveals the specifications
Well, according to the latest from the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will use the MediaTek MT6896 processor, also known as MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Going into detail with the specifications of the new processor, the MediaTek chip adopts a 4nm production process generation of TSMC and adopts 1+3+4 architecture design. Among them we have the single core with the powerful Cortex A78 which a main frequency of 3,1 GHz, while the other three are Cortex A78 with a main frequency of 3,0 GHz.
Furthermore, Digital Chat Station also stated that the screen of the Xiaomi Civi 3 will maintain the Full HD + resolution and the 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected that it will continue to use an AMOLED-type screen with a diagonal of 6,55 inches.
As for photography, Xiaomi's next device dedicated to selfie enthusiasts will adopt a new and better 50 megapixel camera.
Xiaomi Civi 3 increasingly "camera phone": now with flagship cameras
We note that at the moment the Xiaomi Civi 2 is equipped with a 50 megapixel sensor, the Sony IMX766, while the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 should use a main camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor, an image sensor that has already been used on smartphones high-end like the Xiaomi 13 and the Redmi K60 Pro. In front we will instead find two 32 megapixel cameras, therefore similar to the Civi 2 already on the market.
Finally, regarding the launch date, the Civi 3 is expected to be launched in China in April.
