The Xiaomi Civi 3 is also designed in great detail. The top of the glass back cover uses a dot texture to present a creamy sheen, while the bottom uses a square pyramid texture to present a metallic sheen. The lens module has a two-circle design, one large and one small. The large circle brings together the three cameras, and the small circle is a delicate dotted ring flash below the large circle. We then have a metal ring around the camera inspired by the bezel of a high-end watch.
As for size, the overall width of the Civi 3 is 71,7 mm, so very comfortable to hold while the weight of the device is 173,5 grams.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with the brand new Dimension 8200-Ultra chip with a 4 nm process. The chip adopts the 1+3+4 architecture, the maximum CPU frequency is 3,1GHz, and the overall performance is outstanding. The chip is accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM memory and UFS 3.1 internal memory.
Xiaomi and MediaTek have been working together on the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip and are working closely together to test and verify the whole function. For example the capabilities of Mi Image Brain have been completely migrated to the chip. More than 30 functions of Mi Image Brain have come to the Dimension mobile platform for the first time, covering portrait blur, ultra-clear portraits, multi-frame noise reduction, etc.. In terms of power consumption, the continuous shooting speed is up to 235% faster than that of Xiaomi Civi 2.
In terms of heat dissipation, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is equipped with a super large 4000mm2 stainless steel VC system. Compared to the previous generation, the area has increased by 68%.
As mentioned at the beginning, photography is the strong point of the Civi 3. Especially the smartphone it has two front lenses, including a 78° wide-angle lens and a 100° ultra-wide-angle lens. Among them, the equivalent focal length of the 78° beauty lens is about 26mm, which can reduce distortion, and it adopts F2.0 large aperture and flagship ALD ultra-low reflection coating, which it has sufficient light input and can reduce the ghosting effect of lens flare. The camera also supports autofocus AF. The 100° ultra-wide-angle lens allows you to record videos or take photos with multiple people and has an AI distortion correction algorithm.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is also equipped with a total of four multi-colored soft lights. Compared with screen fill light and single color soft light solutions, it has better fill light effect and rich applicable scenarios.
As for the rear cameras, the Xiaomi Civi 3 uses the same main camera of the Xiaomi 13, namely the 800 megapixel Sony IMX50 sensor, supports OIS optical image stabilization and has a faster shooting speed in low light and sports scenes, also supports 2x lossless zoom. Then we find a Sony IMX355 120° 8 megapixel super wide angle lens and a 4 cm 2 megapixel macro lens.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is equipped with one screen 6,55 inch curved AMOLED and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of 1500 nits.
