Xiaomi it doesn't stop and continues to work on new devices to launch on the market, both in China and in the rest of the world. Among these, there is Xiaomi Mi 4, a model of which we have had some previews thanks to leaks. Today in fact, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station revealed details on Weibo that appear to be about the Xiaomi Civi 4, although it didn't actually mention the name of the device.
Xiaomi Civi 4 arriving in China with Snapdragon 8 processor and curved screen
According to what was revealed by the Chinese leakster, the next Xiaomi Civi 4 will have a Snapdragon 8 processor, belonging to Qualcomm's best performing range. If this is confirmed, it would be a big improvement over its predecessor, the Civi 3, which features the Dimensity 8200 processor.
That said, the new leak contradicts previous ones that talked about a Dimensity 8300 Ultra for the Civi 4. Furthermore, Digital Chat Station claims that the device will have aor 2.7D slightly curved screen with 1.5K resolution and a very elegant metal frame.
While according to another Chinese tipster, Smart Pikachu, with the new Civi 4 Xiaomi would like to challenge the smartphones of the Honor numerical series.
As revealed by Smart Pikachu, the device could have an edition in partnership with another brand. Considering that the Civi 3 also had a collaboration version with Disney, it wouldn't be strange if the brand repeated a similar strategy with the Civi 4. The leakster also revealed that the device will have a curved screen, which matches what Digital said Chat Station.
Furthermore, the tipster speculates that Xiaomi might unveil the Civi 4 smartphone around May. Considering that Xiaomi introduced the Civi 3 smartphone in the same month last year, it makes sense to think of a similar launch period for its successor.
Now we just have to wait for an official communication to know if and when the Civi 4 will be launched, but these initial leaks suggest that the device will be a very attractive mid-range phone.
