Xiaomi and the USA: they will start with the Mi Note series

Important declarations made by the chairman of Xiaomi, Lin Bin, to the journalist's editorial staff Wall Street Journal, as it sets the stage for the arrival of the Chinese giant in the US market. We have talked about this possibility for a long time but it seems that finally the first plans have already been made.

According to Lin Bin's statements, Xiaomi will launch into the American market with its smartphones, initially launching the Mi Note series, or the one that currently represents the top of the range. Unfortunately we did not talk about dates but we know from a previous interview that 2016 should be the decisive year Xiaomi is still a year away from entering the US smartphone market |.

Considering the intention to debut with the top-of-the-range series, we are sure that Xiaomi will immediately want to do the "bang", trying to conquer the stars and stripes nation with two high-end but low-cost devices. Most likely Samsung, Apple and all the top brands operating in the US are already shaking.

We recall that Xiaomi has very important market shares in the markets where it operates: 14% in India and 34% worldwide (although China's first place was recently occupied by Huawei and Xiaomi was bouncing).

Our hope, even if it actually did not mention it, is that the development of US market policy goes hand in hand with the development of market policy in the Old Continent.
