The results that Xiaomi has achieved have always been incredible, so they should no longer surprise us. And yet it is not so. A concrete example is the latest published statesman about Xiaomi Mi band sales. The first (and until now unique if we exclude the version with a heartbeat sensor) wearable of the Chinese giant has landed on the wrist of over 18,5 million people. In fact, this is the number of units that have been shipped from Xiaomi warehouses. Considering that the release took place in August 2014 and that the wearable industry is still in its infancy, it's pretty easy to see how sensational the result is.
Surely most of the merit is due to the extremely aggressive selling price to which it was launched (at around EUR 14). To celebrate the achievement of this goal, on the official MIUI forum, a contest was put together for the first classified, a Xiaomi Mi band Pulse, and for the subsequent 20 classified well 200 credits.
In order to participate in the contest it is necessary to be registered in the forum, go to the dedicated thread, and answer (in English) continuing the sentence: "I need a Mi Band, because ...", or "I need a Mi Band because ..." . To participate you have until tomorrow while the winners will be announced on April 6th.
Some tips we can give you to position yourself at the top of the ranking are:
- More reasons given, the better;
- Do not copy the answers of other users, otherwise they will be disqualified;
- You can give maximum 2 responses, so do not be limited to one.
