The code of Xiaomi Mi 11 it is turning out to be a well of information. A few days ago they were two new Qualcomm processors discovered inside the kernel of the device, with the name "Shima" and "Yupik". Unfortunately we do not have certain information about their performances but the information in our possession shows that they are two SoC belonging to the 7XX series. However, the brand seems to be also working on an entry level whose processor name will be "Holi". Let's see the first details that emerged and the specifics that the developers have understood.
Holi will be the name of Xiaomi's entry level SoC equipped with 5G connectivity: this is the main information that emerged from the source code of Mi 11
In accordance to revealed by a member of the XDA Developers team, Qualcomm is working on a new processor of low end which will probably accompany series 7 in the coming months. The data in the possession of the developers speaks of a processor of 4XX series that supports 5G connectivity. Its code name is SM4350 and is composed of eight cores and an Adreno 619 GPU. It is therefore not a very powerful processor, Xiaomi will undoubtedly use it. We know this because within the Mi 11 source code appeared this name.
Another feature of this unreleased processor from Qualcomm is the ability to support a refresh rate at 90Hz. A dig at the new One Plus N100 perhaps? Probably yes, although our Emanuele did not consider this device among the best entry level. Its biggest criticality lay precisely in the refresh rate: despite the structure of the Snapdragon 460 supports such a refresh rate, the device was not up to par. This is probably due to customization OxygenOS which has not yet been properly tested. We expect Xiaomi to “overcome” the problem we have seen with OnePlus considering that it will be his direct competitor.
