Xiaomi launches a 'mosquito-killing' device that counts its victims

In the endless fight against mosquitoes, Xiaomi has launched a device that not only promises to get rid of these annoying insects, but also to keep count of how many mosquitoes he killed. This smart 'mosquito killer' stands out from its competitors not only by its ability to be controlled via smartphone, but also by its tracking the number of insects eliminated.

A technological weapon against mosquitoes: Xiaomi has made bingo with this device

The device consists of two components: the first paralyzes mosquitoes and other unwanted insects using essential oils, while the second is based on LEDs and electric shocks. Both devices can be used together or separately. Each of them is equipped with a display for control and display of useful information. For example, the electrical part keeps track of the number of mosquitoes killed.

The device uses a combination of essential oils e electrical discharges to paralyze and kill mosquitoes. Essential oils, known for their insect repellent properties, are released into the air, disorienting mosquitoes and making them easier to catch. Once the mosquitoes have been attracted to the device, they are killed with an electric shock.

This new product is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem and is compatible with the Mijia proprietary application, through which it is possible to control the device remotely, set an operating program and view the statistics.

In China, this smart 'mosquito killer' is priced at about 40 dollars (price converted from yuan). A small price to pay for a mosquito-free summer, of course. The problem, however, is that, of course, we do not know when and if the device in question will arrive in Europe and Italy. If it arrives, stay tuned to our channels because we will make it available immediately, perhaps with some coupon or discount.
